Jet Aviation receives IS-BAH Stage II certification for FBO network in Australia

"Safety and quality are key priorities at Jet Aviation, and the new IS-BAH certifications demonstrate that our Australian offices meet the most stringent requirements," said Joe Reckling, Jet Aviation's senior vice president of Asia Pacific operations. “Together with facilities in the U.S. and EMEA region, our Australian ground-based providers are excited to offer customers full support to the highest safety standards wherever they are located.”

Andy Gahan, Jet Aviation's general manager of FBO operations in Australia, added: "Customer service is at the heart of everything we do." Our service teams in Australia have extensive experience and are constantly striving to improve the quality of customer service by ensuring safe and timely departures. I am incredibly proud of the passion and dedication of our teams and admire their commitment to working together to achieve these valuable accreditations.”

The International Standard IS-BAH is developed as a set of rules for business aviation ground service providers based on a safety management system. IS-BAH follows the structure of the International Business Aviation Operating Standard (IS-BAO) and includes the first ground handling safety program of the National Air Transport Association (NATA). IS-BAH is the global industry standard for business aviation ground handling operators worldwide and complies with ICAO requirements and international practices, including requirements for safety management systems (SMS). The standard was launched at EBACE 2014.
