Scuderia Alpha Tauri received a luxury gift

Racing team “Formula 1” Scuderia Alpha Tauri, which is owned by the Austrian concern Red Bull, presented a new business jet HondaJet Elite in a special livery. The presentation ceremony was personally attended by Honda Aircraft President and CEO Michimasa Fujino. As can be seen from the photos, the plane is registered in Austria, and the ceremony itself was held in Salzburg in the cult Hangar 7. Red Bull previously announced the acquisition of HondaJet Elite, but this aircraft is still listed with the manufacturer. It is expected that the pilots of the team will fly to the race on a new branded business jet.

In May 2018, at the European Business Aviation Exhibition EBASE 2018, Honda Aircraft Company presented a modernized version of the light class aircraft, which was called HondaJet Elite. The updated aircraft received an increased flight range of 17% (+396 km) and is equipped with a newly developed noise-absorbing air intake, which allows you to significantly reduce the frequency noise of engines, improving noise insulation in the cabin. In addition, the advanced avionics system of the new aircraft includes additional performance management functions for optimal flight planning, as well as automatic stabilization and protection functions to improve flight safety.

The HondaJet Elite inherited aviation breakthroughs developed by Honda Aircraft, including natural laminar flow (NLF) technology and a composite fuselage. The aircraft continues to be the most efficient, quietest, fastest and longest-range aircraft in its category.
