The Global 6000 (formerly known as the Global XRS) is an improved version of the original Global 5000. Alongside its increased dimensions, changes were made to the main aircraft systems and flight-navigation equipment. In early 2005, Bombardier conducted the first flights of the Global Express XRS. Series production began in 2006. An additional fuel tank at the wing-fuselage junction increased the range to 11,390 kilometers.
A nonstop flight can be made, for example, from Los Angeles to Tokyo. If necessary, refueling in the aircraft provides another innovative concept that allows you to refuel in just 15 minutes. The Bombardier Global Express XRS offers much improved handling and aerodynamic performance. In half an hour, the aircraft can gain a cruising altitude of 13,100 m. The maximum speed of the liner is 950 km / h with a flight altitude of 15,545 m. Due to modern soundproofing materials, passengers do not hear excessive noise, which gives maximum comfort during the flight.
