The Cessna Encore+ is an upgraded version of the Encore, continuing the Cessna Model 560 family. The series dates to the late 1980s and has undergone repeated improvements over almost three decades of operation.
The Encore+ entered the market in 2006. It retains the Encore's basic design but adds Collins Pro Line 21 avionics and more powerful PW535B engines with FADEC, a digital engine-control system that improves fuel efficiency and reduces pilot workload. Maximum takeoff weight was also increased by 90 kg.
The Encore+ has relatively low operating costs, allowing attractive charter prices.
