Aircraft description

Boeing 767 is a wide-body airliner designed for medium and long distance flights.

Boeing announced the launch of models 767 and 757 almost simultaneously, but the Boeing 767 turned out to be wider by 1.24 m, which allowed you to arrange seats seven or eight in a row with two aisles. Possible layouts allow you to accommodate either 211 passengers in the cabin of a mixed class (18 - in the first class cabin with an arrangement of seats of six in a row and 193 passengers in the cabin of a tourist class of seven seats in a row), or 230 passengers in the cabin of a tourist class with an arrangement of seats of seven in a row, or a maximum number of 289 passengers - eight seats in a row.

The cargo compartment of the aircraft can accommodate up to 22 LD-2 containers or LD-3/-4/-8 containers occupying a similar volume. Thanks to the additional front hatch of the cargo cabin, whose dimensions are 1.75 m x 3.4 m, it is possible to load Type 2 containers.

The first Boeing 767 aircraft was launched on August 4, 1981 and made its maiden flight lasting 2 hours 4 minutes on September 26. In February 1983, Boeing announced the 767-300 variant, whose fuselage was lengthened by 6.42 m, which allowed for an increase in capacity. Both the 767-200 and 767-300 are offered in the Extended Range (ER) variant with increased fuel tank capacity and takeoff weight.
