Aircraft description

The An-148 is a Russian-made airliner offering a high level of passenger comfort. It is larger than its main competitors in this class, the Challenger 850 and Falcon 900EX, and can accommodate more than 70 passengers. It can cover 5 thousand kilometres without refuelling at an average speed of 500 km/h, with a maximum operating altitude of 12.2 km. The cabin provides everything needed for a comfortable flight. Advanced flight-control and navigation systems support safe operation.

The An-148 is a short-haul, narrow-body passenger aircraft developed by the O. K. Antonov design bureau.

The basic option is the regional aircraft An-148-100, providing transportation in a single-class layout from 70 passengers with a seat pitch of 864 mm to 80 passengers with a seat pitch of 762 mm. In order to provide flexibility to meet the requirements of various airlines, as well as in order to reduce operating costs and increase the profitability of transportation, certification of the base aircraft is provided in versions with a maximum flight range from 2200 to 5100 km.

Modern navigation and radio equipment, multifunction displays and fly-by-wire controls allow the An-148-100 to operate on a wide range of routes, day or night, in both favourable and adverse weather. The systems also support crew comfort on busy air routes.
