Helicopter description

The EC130 uses a conventional main rotor and tail rotor layout and is a development of the Eurocopter AS350 B3. It is equipped with flight automation and stabilisation systems. The helicopter made its first flight on June 24, 1999.

The EC130 was designed primarily for operators offering sightseeing flights. Compared with the original model, it has a wider cabin, larger windows and better sound insulation, aided by the shrouded tail rotor. The result is a spacious cabin with excellent visibility and room for seven tourists.
