Helicopter description

The AS350 is manufactured by Eurocopter. This model became famous for making the first helicopter landing on the summit of Mount Everest in 2005.

The AS350 made its first flight in 1974 and was highly innovative for its time. Its fuselage made extensive use of materials then considered unusual, including polycarbonates and fibreglass composites.
